How to Draw a Daffodil?
Here’s a simple step-by-step way to draw a daffodil (the classic side/front view with the trumpet in the middle).
Step 1: Draw the Basic Center Shapes
Lightly sketch a large circle. Inside it, draw a smaller circle (slightly off-center). These circles act as guides for the daffodil’s central cup (trumpet).

Step 2: Outline the Flower and Petals
Around the center, draw six pointed petals radiating outward. Then draw a wavy, scalloped circle inside the petals to form the rim of the daffodil’s trumpet. Add a small oval or circle in the very center.

Step 3: Add Inner Details and Shading
Inside the trumpet, draw a few curved lines flowing downward to show depth. Add gentle shading near the base of the trumpet to give it a three-dimensional look.

Step 4: Draw the Stem and Leaves
Extend a slightly curved stem downward from the flower. Add long, narrow leaves on either side. Refine the lines and add light shading to complete the daffodil drawing.
