How To Draw Chucky?
Chucky is scary but drawing Chucky isn’t. Here are the simple 6 steps given below on how to do it.
How To Draw Chucky – A Step-By-Step Tutorial
Step 1: Sketch the Basic Head and Guidelines
Start by lightly drawing a circle for the head. Add a vertical centerline and a horizontal guideline across the middle to position the facial features. Keep the lines very light since they’ll be erased later.
Next, sketch a small, simplified torso beneath the head. Indicate the shoulders and upper chest with soft curves. Lightly block in the arm extending forward, since Chucky is holding a knife. At this stage, focus only on proportions and pose — don’t add details yet.

Step 2: Define the Face Shape and Arm Position
Refine the head by shaping the jaw and chin. Chucky has a rounded but slightly defined lower face, so adjust the circle accordingly.
Sketch in the eye shapes along the horizontal guideline — slightly angled to give a mischievous or menacing expression. Add a small nose shape and begin outlining the mouth placement.
Now refine the arm and hand position. Draw the forearm coming forward and block in the hand gripping the knife handle. Keep the knife shape simple and triangular for now.

Step 3: Develop the Facial Expression
Refine the eyes to look more sinister. Add upper eyelids that angle downward toward the center to create an evil glare. Draw pupils and slight under-eye creases.
Define the nose with nostrils and subtle shading lines. Shape the mouth into a smirk or grin — slightly open with visible teeth for a creepy effect.
Adjust the cheeks and brow to enhance expression. Slightly raise one brow or deepen the furrow between them to increase intensity.

Step 4: Add Hair and Strengthen Features
Sketch Chucky’s messy, wild hair. Use loose, sharp strokes radiating outward from the head. Keep it uneven and slightly spiky to match his chaotic personality.
Darken the eyebrows and refine the eyes further. Strengthen the outline of the face and jaw.
Refine the knife: define the blade edges clearly and shape the handle with grip lines. Begin adding light contour shading to the face and hand for depth.

Step 5: Add Scars and Detailed Shading
Draw Chucky’s stitched scars across the face. Vary their direction and length for realism. Add small stitch marks crossing the scar lines.
Deepen shadows around the eyes, under the nose, and beneath the chin. Add shading around the scars to make them look raised and textured.
Refine the hand gripping the knife — define knuckles and add shadow between fingers. Add shading along one side of the blade for dimension.

Step 6: Final Line Work and Contrast
Go over your final lines with darker, confident strokes. Erase all construction guidelines.
Increase contrast by deepening the darkest shadows — especially in the hair, under the brows, around scars, and beneath the chin. Add texture lines in the hair and subtle cross-hatching where needed.
Finally, sharpen the knife’s edges and add a highlight along one side of the blade to make it pop. Adjust any proportions if necessary, and your detailed Chucky drawing is complete.
