How To Draw a Basketball

Here is a simple step-by-step guide on how to draw a basketball. 

Step 1: Draw a Circle

• Start with a perfect or near-perfect circle.
  
• Use light pencil strokes so it’s easy to adjust or erase if needed.
  

Step 2: Add the Vertical Curve

• Draw a curved vertical line slightly off-center, running from top to bottom.
  
• This gives the basketball a 3D, rounded look.
  

Step 3: Add the Horizontal Curve

• Draw a horizontal curved line, crossing the vertical one.
  
• Make sure the curve matches the roundness of the ball to maintain the illusion of depth.
  

Step 4: Add Side Panels & Shading
