Step by Step Process of Drawing a Witch

Step 1: Start With a Circle

Begin by drawing a neat circle for the head. Keep it simple and light, since this is your base shape.

Step 2: Add face guidelines and the Witch Hat

Inside the circle, draw one vertical line down the center and one horizontal line across the middle. These guides help place the eyes and face evenly. After that add a simple witch hat.

Step 3: Sketch the upper body

Under the head, add a short dress-like body shape that widens slightly toward the bottom. Then draw two simple arm lines coming out from the sides. At this stage, the figure should look very basic.
